Leadership Summit (29-11-2014)
“Leaders are not born, they are made”. It is this very thought that is being echoed at the unique Leadership Summit that kickstarts today. In the chosen premises of Kerala Public School Kadma, this programme in an extension of the Moral Rearmament camp which was held on 29th November 2014.
The Summit essentially focuses on personality development, giving special attention to the moral development of a child. Through counseling and nurturing young minds, this is an initiative that is a result of brainstorming done by game changers, motivators and stalwarts. This is a programme which believes in shaping young minds by identifying the obstacles and the problems that abound, giving them direction by tapping their energy and help them channelize the right way.
Through situations and role plays, they are made to understand the unforeseen challenges that lie ahead and face with better preparedness.
The ceremony was inaugurated on 20th December in the presence of the Chief Guest Major General Prem Sabarwal and the Director of the KPS conglomerate Mr. Sharat Chandran Nair who has been the propeller behind the event.
The Leadership programme is held every six months with two sessions every month. Around 75 – 100 students across different schools participated and were mentored by eminent speakers and the who’s who of the city.
